Defects of our education system
That day I was reading the execellent book on pschycology “Born to Win – A Transactional Analysis on Gestalt Experiment” . I was reading about the ego states of people – child ego, parent ego and adult ego. And I wondered how much important it is for people to read psychology and human behaviour. How often than not our opinions are based on parental prejudices, our actions illogically obstinate and rebellious like a child and how less often we fail to analyse data and facts and make logical opinions like an adult. We deal with people in every walk of life and still our educational system hasn’t made it a compulsory study in colleges. Other areas of mandatory education should be on moral science based on autobiographies and biographies which we people lack so much these days. Current affairs and newspaper reading should be introduced from school. More emphasis is to given to study of political science. Sex education should also be imparted so that people can discuss and learn it in a scientific way. Relationships, dating, general health care, personality development should also be integral part of education. Knowledge about drugs, alcohol and smoking which are growing like epidemic in society should also be given in school. The educational sylabus is to be revised every 5 years to include those recent discoveries and inventions which are essential part of man’s day to day life. And above vocational and enterprenual training so that people can learn to make a living in today’s days of unemployment.

Nice piece of work di.and i complete agree with the view.I think a subject should be made like watching news daily, making points and a group discussion in the next class.
Only bookish knowledge is not enough and social knowledge development is must….agreed.
